CONRAD'S STORY

I’ve spent over a decade of my life in a helping profession. I spent four years as a combat medic, witnessing the horrors of war and trying to keep alive the wounded, and over six years as a transformational coach, helping men and women transform their lives and grow into the person they wanted to become.

Not only have I helped others, but I've been on my own transformational journey as well. No one escapes childhood unscathed, then the horrors of war and the fallout I brought on myself post-deployment as I struggled in silence and blinded to my own issues.

Realizing I love helping others has led me to further my education and take courses to enhance my ability to do so. Men's issues, sex addiction, and trauma are three areas near and dear to my heart.

I've attained my Professional Certified Coach (PCC) designation from the International Coaching Federation which provides the foundation of my coaching style. But really, it's the experiences in life that I've witnessed and survived that adds flair to each session.

I'm a firm believer that as your transformational coach, it's my job to call you out on your bullshit, hold the mirror up for you to see what your actions and words look and sound like, and help you reframe your mind.

IT WASN'T ALWAYS EASY

Growing up as a male in the 1980s—2000s and having been in the combat arms of a tier 3 unit in the US Army, my world was skewed. Very. For over a decade, I struggled and was not only toxic but wasn't a good friend or relationship partner due to my inner demons. Going through my own recovery and realizing that every day I still have to go through it makes me realize others can also overcome their past. We are not who we used to be. Only our present actions can show that.

I had a transformation, and for that, I'm very glad. I didn't do it alone, and I thank my therapists, coaches, and friends, who stood by my side and saw that I wasn't the "enemy" others painted me to be. And yes, I've been called the enemy directly to my face.

Change wasn't easy, and there were setbacks. But I kept pushing forward, and I still do to this day. Transformation never ends. Nor should it.
